Seamless transformation in association with Aditya Birla Group “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.”-Helen Keller always reminds me of the seamless transformation from a fainthearted person to someone bold and charismatic. Coming from an orthodox family, where girls are supposed to be naïve of the contemporary world in terms of fashion and socialization, I always used to sound low and skeptical about the way people carry these aspects impeccably until the day I crossed paths with Aditya Birla fashion and retail limited (ABFRL). The level of uncertainty and comfort went for topsy-turvy, as I got into the world of renowned brands of one of the biggest Indian multinational conglomerate Aditya Birla group like Pantaloons, van Heusen, Allen Solly, Forever 21 from apparels to accessories to everything you name it and you would get it. Evidently, the range of collection in terms of design as well as demographics helped me in fastening the transformation process. It started to build a pillar of trust considering the quality of the product, being established since 1857. The importance of survival and constantly improving at various phases in the process to evolve as a refined brand is something I tend to ruminate from the story of Aditya Birla’s Brand “MORE.” Turning into one of the toughest competitors in the chain of supermarkets despite greater challenges from mom and pop stores and small- scale markets, it motivates me about the credibility in the endurance of a process. Path to self-improvement Having born in an ethically bound family, I was always asked to abide by family ethics like staying away from non-vegetarian food. Being a blogger in cooking domain demanded to break the barriers, for which I convinced my parents and started cooking non-vegetarian food. Expanding my boundaries and raising confidence levels were always my biggest concerns right from schooling.  I had to push my limits, motivate myself to take part in every activity at my reach including extracurricular as well as co-curricular activities.  Contesting for house captain elections and winning it helped me realize the leadership potential in me. I had to divide my group into various teams depending on their capabilities and interest in activities like singing, dancing, quiz, debate, sports, etc for which I conducted elections. In addition to this, I also had to take care of my house members academic performance. I realized that confidence could be raised with the help of involvement in activities that include social interaction, where Kuchipudi turned into my new best friend helping me to unleash the creative side of mine. All these helped me achieving “The best house” award for that academic year. Cracking IIFT exam was less tough over clearing the interview as I had to prepare myself mentally and improve a lot personally as well as professionally. I had to move out of my comfort zone, trying to multitask like completing my diploma in the German language alongside my academics, interview preparation and fulfilling the duties of the class representative, student coordinator for the fest, club president in the constant process of improving myself before the D- day arrived. No matter, how rigorous the process is, survival is the crucial part.
