Aditya Birla Group, a conglomerate aiming to deliver superior value to its consumers, shareholders, employees, and to the society at large has, indirectly, played a very significant role for me and my family. It has delivered not just a product or service, but something much more meaningful. My father is in the construction business; he owns a real estate group housing project in Delhi NCR. The construction began four years ago and now is on the verge of being out for possession. From the base of the project to the top floor, Ultratech Cement has been used extensively to corroborate the structure. It’s a name that my father trusted and has been more than satisfied with how the entire project has come along. The potential customers visiting the project always look amazed and compliment the quality of material used. Even though it is an affordable housing project, quality was one of our top priorities and an area where any sort of compromise was non-negotiable. My father often says that strong walls are the first thing that a customer notices before buying a house. It is because of Ultratech Cement that my father was able to fulfill his dream of providing affordable housing to hundreds of families. Looking at the site and my father smiling makes me immensely happy and I would like to thank Ultratech Cement for that moment of happiness. It is not only the source of my family’s income but a matter of pride for all of us. Owned by the Aditya Birla Group, the experience has made the brand extremely important and big for us. A strong foundation is like possessing strong values, both help rescue us in times of need.    A challenge I faced  Ever since I was in school, I wished to complete my graduation from University of Delhi. This required me to score above 95% in my class 12th examination. I was performing decently well in all the subjects except Mathematics. I was struggling to grasp the subject and score well even two months prior to the final examination. It was really distressing and pressing time for me. I failed to concentrate on my preparations, there were moments when I felt like giving up and just focusing on the remaining subjects. However, with the goal of studying at Delhi University in my mind, I decided to give the maximum possible time to the subject, devise a strategy, work on weak areas and come out stronger. I started studying the concepts of the subject in depth and then moved on to the practical aspect, I watched online videos, took help from my mentors and friends. Gradually, I noticed an increase in my performance, I felt pretty confident on the day of the final examination, breezed through the exam and ended up scoring 95 in the subject. Being successfully graduated from Delhi University, my next milestone was to complete my MBA from IIFT, a premier Business school in India. Putting in the effort to overcome my weak subject again paid off when I sat for the IIFT entrance exam. Today, I write this from my hostel room of IIFT and I owe it all to my decision of not giving up four years ago.
