Mother plays an important role in life of a child and when a child sees her mother in pain, it affects him a lot. I was 7 years old when I knew my mother was suffering from Brain Tumor and it was life and death situation. With God grace, operation got successful and she lived but with some side effects. The image of her being on the hospital bed with bandage covering her head is still unforgettable.
Form that early age instead of getting help from my mother, I was the one looking out for her. She suffered from some memory loss and had a problem uttering relevant words in communication and so I was the one helping her to get better and become her voice. She is perfect healthy now and when I think of the past it made me realize that such situation has made me responsible from the early age and given me skills which most people don’t even learn in life time.
When I introspect that time, I learnt the three important lessons of life. First, patience and optimism are the core values of keeping healthy environment around you. Second, everything is unpredictable, so accept the change and do not deviate from your goal and Third, practice to control the emotions as it is necessary for others to see you strong so that they can rely on you.
My ambition is only to improve myself to best of my abilities and to use that skill for betterment of the society. This is the constant learning and such challenges help to hone my skills.
