As rightly said by Joshua J. Marine
“Challenges are what make life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful”. While some people seem to meet every challenge with confidence, others struggle to overcome them.
Though everyone has their set of issues like self-doubt, lack of confidence, etc., mine was dealing with procrastination. The most common problem is finding the time and will to start a new activity. Instead of procrastinating, planning my day beforehand with strict milestones and sticking to it has helped me significantly in achieving more out of a day.
Another important aspect that is complimentary with the prior is finding the energy and motivation to start. The amount of energy we have is directly proportional to the passion vested in the ambitions. No matter how big the challenge is, breaking it down in smaller milestones and celebrating each milestone has helped me achieve which seemed impossible at the start. Rightly said is that the journey of 1000 miles begins with that single step.
Getting the right attitude has also significantly helped me define my destiny. The things that frustrated me and held me back, I always looked upon them as a trampoline to bounce me higher and to outgrow from my current situation. To achieve success in life collaborating with the right set of people, surrounding yourself with achievers and thinkers not only enhances your abilities but also widens your perspective.
Journey to success is frustrating and fascinating at the same time. Anyone who sets a resolution to change is doing battle against a lifetime of habits in both brain and behaviour. Give yourself the freedom to make mistakes without seeing yourself as a failure, and set yourself up for success. The simple logic of 21 days works.
