Who doesn’t love the enchanting smell of fresh parantha’s with Acchar on a rainy morning? And the fun of sneaking a bite every now and then during the Geography period in school is unparalleled.
Freshwrapp preserved those tasty moments that I’ll cherish for a lifetime, and not to forget, the fun we had during recess with the makeshift ball we made out of the leftover foil. Right from our uniform, to the school building, to even the sole of our school-shoes, everything that we had, somewhere, somehow was connected to Aditya Birla Group of Companies. I would like to share 3 lovely memories that were #BigInMyLife:
1) I am a self-taught guitarist and my
Idea data pack helped me learn from the best guitarists in the world.
2) I went on my first date wearing my favourite Louis Philippe shirt & the first gift that I bought for her was a top from Forever 21.
3) The first celebrity I’d met was also because of ABG. I had the good fortune to meet
Late Shri. Farooq Shaikh while attending a cultural event at Century Rayon, Shahad, with my family.
I connected with the
Idea brand during the I.I.N. ad campaign. It was a particularly striking ad as I completely related to what was being conveyed in the ad. I had an Idea network at that point and I used my data pack to watch
Youtube videos online. I am a self-taught guitarist and I completely agree that availing the power of the internet to the people at a cheap rate and with great bandwidth can yield mind-boggling results. Idea was the flag bearer when it came to giving the biggest bang for your buck.
The date was 25th April 2015. I had scheduled my Trinity College’s Rock & Pop(Grade 5) exam on this day. I was practicing hard to get this certificate because it was something that I always wanted to take a shot at ever since I started learning guitar. But, as luck would have it, 1 week before this exam my engineering final project presentation was also scheduled on the same day! I had been working on both of these projects for months and they were to be executed on the same day. To add to the problems, both, my college and the guitar examination centre, were about 100 km apart. Now, I had the choice to either drop the idea of appearing for my Rock & Pop exam or wait another year to give it because I couldn’t have let go of presenting my final project as I would’ve failed and my 9 months of internship at Larsen & Toubro would have gone down the drain. It was clear that I had to execute both these tedious tasks and be successful at them. Lo and behold, the day arrived and I managed to complete both of the tasks successfully. Not only did I ace the final year project presentation, but I also cleared the Trinity college’s exam with “Merit”. I really surprised myself and definitely made an impact that will be there with me for the rest of my life. It was one of those days that I look back to draw inspiration from myself!
