"Confidence is Beautiful"- IIM Rohtak
“
Confidence is the most beautiful thing a women can wear”. And I do believe the same because as Mark Twain once said one cannot be comfortable without his own approval. Therefore wearing comfortable and decent clothes boost me up, my behavior and helps me to gain more confidence and conquer anything in life. Various brands such as Pantaloons, Allen Solly, Forever 21 etc. of
ABFRL (Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited) provides one with branded apparels and well fitted dress which ultimately affects my mood, attitude and confidence. From my personal experience of ABFRL brands I would say for me those are Dress for success.
The biggest decision making period for a person is when he/she clears 10th standard examination. It was a time when your whole life depends on that decision, in which you are going to spend your time in that particular stream. There were lot of expectations from everyone especially relatives, who inclined our thoughts to pick these 2 streams one Mathematics another science. Because for them if you choose these two option you are studious and going to make your life worth.
But it was not the case with me. I chose commerce believing that I am going to learn about the things which is going on in our economy. And from that time my journey begins to do MBA. With the passing time I was knowing more about the exams, criteria’s, eligibility etc. through which I will get to do MBA. The first time I read about IIM, was in the newspaper in which there was an article, which states that soon IIM is going to open in my state i.e IIM Raipur, Chhattisgarh. At that time I came to know about this institute. And this information, it instills the desire in me to pursue my MBA from IIM, ignoring the fact that the journey would’nt be that easy.
So the journey begins for CAT preparation, I joined the coaching institute from the first year of my college because it was much needed. That time I came to know about the Face-off (me- quants) and the result is very much predictable that I am going to succumb under its trickiness. But let me tell you it was not that easy to break me, I tried and tried till I overcame my fear.
In this journey I tasted multiple failures but the thing which keeps me driving was that I do
BELIEVE IN MYSELF. Cat 2018 for me was my last attempt, because I converted another private bschool and thought of joining it. Took admission there, IIMs results are not yet announced (no idea going to convert or not). My last date to cancel my admission from that bschool was on 5 June 2018. And till now no IIM converts and no sign of movement in any college. 4 June was the D day for me whether to go with the convert or hope for the best. The day spend with perplexed (mini me: Stating, Bird in hand worth two in a bush). At last I decided to withdraw my admission on 5 June morning with no converts. And all of a sudden in the evening I got a mail from the PGP admission stating that you have been offered a seat and that moment for me was just breathtaking. See now I am here at IIM Rohtak.
The journey for me was full of experiences, most important it taught me that one must have
Patience and
Confidence.
Now after all the celebrations it’s the time to realize that getting into an IIM is just the direction you got and in order to learn and get knowledge you have to give your best and make the coming two years worth count. This journey is definitely going to add value in my life and I wish this two years would be the best chapter of my life.
