The Indian Higher Education graph has evolved sharply in the last two decades. Twenty years ago higher education was all about theories, there were a few institutions focusing on providing job opportunities to their students while today it has gone completely digital. Back then, jobs were hard to find, today you can get it right from your own space.
Two decades back, there were no placement training concepts available across universities in India. The students were less in numbers, the market was less competitive because jobs were still rising. However, with time the number of students opting for higher education courses doubled in number and the market became selective while choosing a candidate for a job because of the availability of talented individuals.
This brought institutions to the idea of setting up an exclusive training and placement cell in the organizations for making their students competitive to survive in the marketplace. However, a training and placement cell alone was not enough to make students skilled and job ready. To bridge the gap, the major institutions in India introduced the concept of CRT Classes. But what are these classes?
As per TIMES,
“Campus Recruitment Training, is designed to help students build concepts, prepare strategies, identify weaknesses, and take steps to eliminate them”.
Since then, many academic institutions have adopted the same to keep pace with the competition. Over these years JECRC Foundation turned out to be the most consistent tier-II higher education body across Northern India who kept moving ahead with its remarkable Campus Recruitment Training ecosystem.
JECRC Foundation, a 20-year, two-winged educational establishment, with 10,000 enrolled students with JECRC College and JECRC University together. Set up in Pink City, Jaipur, Rajasthan ranked as one of the best universities in the northern regions of India with more than 15,000 alumni associated with their network, functioning across the globe.
The institution is not only known for its unbeatable placements, it runs one of the most versatile CRT classes in the state of Rajasthan in terms of number of hours spent, number of students benefited with an objective of providing the best in class training and development at the lowest possible cost, making them accessible to every student.
In 2010, the CRT classes were launched for the first time at JECRC Foundation in collaboration with Career Launcher and Times. Today, this list has evolved by joining hands with organizations like FACE, Winners Academy etc. With the introduction of CRT classes there came a hike in the number of offers rolled and since then there is no looking back.
The process of CRT classes at JECRC Foundation begins with FDP and ends with Company Specific Training to the students. CRT classes consist of one to one interaction of students with the faculty members who are trained through faculty development programs prior to the classes and expert classes in collaboration with agencies mentioned in the former section.
As per the statistics of last three placements seasons the institution has conducted Company Specific Training in association with top notch training agencies for LTI, DXC, TATA, WIPRO, HPE etc.
However, the time was not easy for any one of us. There came a moment when hurdles did hit this ecosystem due to the unprecedented times of COVID-19. If necessity is the mother of invention, then the last year has yielded a motherlode of innovations at JECRC Foundation as they responded fantastically to the ever changing demands due to the pandemic.
“Initially, the entire process was messed up, since it was the first time such a situation had come up in our way. It was the time when everyone was unavailable both mentally and physically. In 2020, at the time of launch the entire system crashed twice but later we managed to launch the first virtual CRT Classes for the batch of 2021," a spokesperson at JECRC Foundation.
You must be interested to know that the institution has managed 7 hours per day online training for students which involved a 360 degree preparation of the students. The impact of CRT classes was so strong and fruitful that even in the challenging times the employment ratio of JECRC Foundation remained consistent.
In 2020, 1990+ students benefited, which is one of the highest in the state of Rajasthan. These students were placed with the top notch companies when no one was expecting a job especially from tier-II universities. This is another year with the same set of challenges, but this time the institution is more powerful and equipped with the latest technology and collaborations. The institution is expecting a blast in terms of CRT Classes results and the number of offers.
