Each and every class in IIM Indore is exciting, engaging and there is so much learning. The learning comes not just from the professor but also from all my classmates, through all the class participation. And it is this very thing which I like the most about my B-school class as compared to my engineering one. All the students contribute actively to the discussion and maximise the inputs.
One of the most memorable classroom experience which I could recollect comes from my Decision Thinking class. So this was a two-day workshop held in IIM Indore. Decision thinking essentially is a cognitive process resulting in the selection of a belief or a course of action among several alternative possibilities. All of my friends were really looking for such a different kind of a course. The course started with the basic concepts of DT ( Decision Thinking) and went all with creative activities involving model building, marble papers, colours in order to build your model. So I really liked this part of the course wherein the professor made us accustomed to the concepts and we ourselves implemented them by making our own models
Which ABG company would you want to work for and why?
I would love to work in Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited especially in their marketing domain. Marketing is a versatile domain which requires enthusiasm, dedication and a unique thought process. The ideas have to be out of the box and sometimes a small change can lead to wondrous outcomes.
This spirit is what fascinates me and I believe I will not only be able to live up to these expectations but also emerge as a leader.
