Now that you have embarked on your journey towards obtaining an MBA degree, as an MBA candidate, you will meet a lot of people, work in different teams on various case studies and presentations that will prepare you for some exciting debates and discussions and, in turn, stir up your creative and imaginative side. So, let's look at different types of people you may find while working in a group: The Motivator  This individual will have their game face on and be prepared to handle challenges. They will inspire others in the group with their inspirational perspective. While they may not be leaders, they are crucial for maintaining group morale leading to the completion of the goal. The Leader The person who assumes responsibility and promptly begins delegation of tasks as well as guiding people in the right direction. This person is responsible for solving conflicts, facilitating communications between team members, and keeping everyone on course. The Cooperative person  They may not be the best initiators on the planet, but they are dependable when it comes to coordinating with people to get tasks completed and energetically resolve clashes amongst the group. They hold everyone together and act as a cohesive force. The Planner Planners are naturally self-motivated. They’re very driven to organize processes and give order to the world around them. They are so dedicated to creating perfection with their work that they are rarely people pleasers. This works best for anyone working around them because they are sincere and ethical. The Confused Captain  You could give this individual a point by point, bit by bit, breakdown of the venture, and they will, in any case, be confused still. They'll do the task wrong and always be confused. The Creative Creative types tend to get caught up in their world of imagination, They have problem-solving and conceptualizing skills, but they are not always the clearest communicators, diplomats or deadline-makers The No Show This person is apparently in your group, but they never show up to anything. Occasionally, this person will show up a day before the project is due and ask what they can do, but most of the time, you will never hear/see/speak to them until the project's due date. The Volunteer Every group has a task that seems unappealing to the whole lot, but someone has to do it! The volunteer is the person who finally decides to take one for the team after a long and awkward pause and acts as their saviour. The Punctual prince Their time is precious, and they want you to know that. They are also very organized in their own lives, so any delay on your end that causes them any inconvenience can result in them being displeased. The Procrastinator This person will do anything and everything to keep the group off track. They will make you laugh, lose focus, and make you want to cry because of how little work you get done during the times you’re supposed to be productive.
