Why is the Aditya Birla Group big in my life???

“Start small, think big. Don’t worry about too many things at once. Take a handful of simple things to begin with, and then progress to more complex ones. Think about not just tomorrow, but the future. Put a ding in the universe.” – Steve Jobs The Aditya Birla Group's roots can be traced back over 150 years to the 19th century. The flagship company Grasim, established in post-independence India in 1947, is one of the first Indian businesses to set up international operations. And now The Aditya Birla Group has expanded their roots in almost each and every sector from past 7 decades. The Group has grown from US $2 billion to US $44.3 billion, from 8 countries to 34 countries, from 8 nationalities to 42 nationalities and so on. Time is money in today's world. Hence, all of us try to save and utilize time. The Aditya Birla Group has helped us a lot by providing 0.1 Million MT of Ultratech Cement for constructing Mumbai's Bandra-Worli Sealink and saving commute time of a large chunk of people. BIG is also microscopic in a way that Birla Carbon Nano-particles makes car tyres safer and hence helps to go back to one's family at the end of the day safely. Talking about the safety, The Aditya Birla Insulators is India's largest manufacturer of the full range of high performance insulators. We are safe from the wires that are used for Transmission and Distribution of electricity because these insulators cover them. Indian Railways is the lifeline of a substantial number of people of the country. The copper requirement for making copper conductors used for the electrification of the Railways is also provided by Birla Copper. The Aditya Birla Group also helps everyone look BIG through Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited. The Aditya Birla Group is also present at a very small scale in our life that many of us are not even aware about. But if they were not present there, life would not have been the same as it is today. Hindalco Aluminium is used to make cover glass for smartphones without which we can't even survive for 5 minutes. Also when we are thousands of miles away from our loved ones, the Vodafone Idea Limited has made sure that the distance remains minimal and remain in constant touch with them. The Aditya Birla Group also believes in making life bigger for one and all and hence the Group have actively contributed to the social and economic development of the society as big as 7.5 million people from providing medical camps and hospitals to treat them, from constructing schools to providing children midday meal, from providing skill training to the people to providing them employment as the sectors the Group has covered are humongous. Hence, THE ADITYA BIRLA GROUP is prodigious from each and every angle in my life.

How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambitions in life?? Journey is a vital aspect in our lives. Everyone in here will encounter a type of journey whether it's physical or imaginative. Life itself is a journey with many challenges to overcome, with many experiences to learn from and with many opportunities to explore. I have also encountered with many challenges in life but the experience that I had with the one stated below will always be together with me forever and ever. My age was 10 years in 2005 when I saw and heard the game "TENNIKOIT" for the first time on DD Sports. My interest towards the game developed then and I wanted to culminate in the game. But then, the reality struck right onto my face. I did not get enough family support due to our financial situation. Also my parents wanted me to focus only on studies. In addition, I hail from a small town Junagadh in Gujarat wherein no one had even heard the name of the game before. But the zeal inside was so high that I wanted to do something about it. So, I did all the things possible to convince my parents first to send me to Ahmedabad during vacations for training. I could not find anyone there as well. But during my quest there in Ahmedabad, I was lucky enough to get a contact of a person who was a player of Tennikoit and stayed in Junagadh. I came back home and reached out to the person. The person was very happy to see me as very few were aware about the game. He agreed to help me train if I could arrange the court and all the equipments required. I tried a lot of places in the town having sports facilities but failed to convince them. I still continued to persuade and somehow convinced my school to provide me with all the facilities required. So, during the school time, I used to study and after my school I used to stay back and train for the game. I started my journey from the District level and paved my way towards the National level. Finally in 2008, I represented my state (Gujarat) in 23rd Sub Junior National Tennikoit Championship. I did not win the National Championship but the learnings I had throughout my journey were immense.
