Earlier were the days when we used to carry cash or heavy wallet in our pockets whenever we used to step out, had to pay 5% or 10% of the total amount for fund transfer and had to first deposit money in the mobile wallet in order to pay for the bills, on which we would have earned interest if it were in the bank account instead. One thing that has impacted not only my life but everyone’s lives is BHIM UPI. It is the coolest thing especially for a student. It surely is big in everyone's life as it allows everyone to roam without wallets and make a payment just on a click. All you need is a phone and a thumb to click. Either I am paying for a cutting chai or paying for a feast, every small transaction can be done through this app as every Galla wala has a UPI id now. One thing that UPI app has surely made easy is to fetch my borrowed money back from my friend as he/she is not left with any excuses now. The app really shows its worth during this time. The pain that I was a student go through while making a huge payment after partying is vanquished by the rewards and cashback for making the transactions. And when it is in a scratch form, it seems like a Christmas gift. I don't like keeping money in mobile wallets because ones deposited, it can't be taken out for other use. Moreover, Being an Indian citizen, I don't have to fight for getting change back from the shopkeeper or for handing toffees in exchange. BHIM UPI has made the digital transaction much easy and secure due to which I was able to order a cake for my friend living in another state, on his birthday. There's nothing more worth cherishing than such happy faces.

  1. JAA SIMRAN JAA KHEL LE DIL BHARKE
During my 12th standard, one problem I faced was to decide whether I should participate further in basketball at the national level or not, as it would have cost me a whole month of preparation and my exams were scheduled just a few days after nationals got over. But while thinking about a solution to this problem and scheduling my activities, a challenge was thrown upon me and other students going to participate in sports at the national level. Our principal decided not to allow any student of 12th grade to participate further in sports as it would have a direct impact on our studies. After working so hard physically and mentally, this news was no less than a bomb for us. Our challenge was to make the Principal of our school change her decision and performing good in our academics at the same time. After lots of requests and protests, our principal had to change her decision. After that, I was back at my first problem. People still advised me not to go as studies were more important and it will affect my studies. But when your first love is a sport, you don't listen to anyone and prove yourself in the field instead. Even my father allowed me to go which was more of a " Jaa Simran Jaa" moment for me. I ended up scoring good marks in 12th along with "National level player" tag!! The whole of this made me learn two GREAT lessons: 1.One could manage anything if one is dedicated but only if he/she gives equal importance to every task (Conditions applied) 2.Never lose your self- confidence in any circumstances.
