For a professional belonging to the legal field and stepping into the business world, I have grown up in the professional attire right from my undergraduate nurturing days, the days of me being a student. Recalling my memories of everything I have done so far, I have realised the importance of endurance, perseverance and hard work, seen every hardship and grown to be of value having worn those professional attire that made me feel comfortable, strong and an independent individual that I am today. This might seem a small contribution, but Aditya Birla remained a constant part of my life and my own self all throughout my student life as well as of the short stint of my professional life, and now again as a student life.
The journey for me personally, has not come without ups and downs. But one has to walk through the thorns to reap the benefits of the rose. I have been put to challenges on constant occasions throughout my life, but the notable ones have been since I left school, the safety bubble that bursts for everyone once they step into the life as an undergraduate. From preparing for higher secondary Board Examination while suffering from Tuberculosis, to choosing law while going against the family wishes of taking up Engineering as a career, to being a part of a PAN India NGO named IDIA (Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access) and lead its Lucknow, UP Chapter for most of my undergraduate years despite any aids from college administration, to working in the most tedious, demanding and challenging field of law, it has been literally a hurdles race for me at every instance. A lawyer’s life, ipso facto, so to say, is synonymous to challenges and hardships at mental front.
The Aditya Birla Group resonate five core values that include integrity, commitment, passion, seamlessness and speed, the values that acted as stepping stones for them to become the pioneer they are today. Putting enormous amount of hard work, patience and perseverance was what was required.
So, often it is the seemingly small things that actually seem as challenging issues, and sometimes the mere enormity of things also makes them appear to be challenging. It only depends on the outlook of a person, the core values one has, and perseverance to strive that keep one going, and this applies to all, be it a challenge faced by a big conglomerate like Aditya Birla group, or a student like me who is striving to excel in her field.
