Since past ten years, one of the brands with which I can resonate myself the most has been Pantaloons
by Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited. Its wide range with reasonable price meets all my apparel
needs. The collection of Pantaloons reflects who I am and makes me feel confident for important
occasions. Emerging as a lifestyle brand, the collection of the brand is polished, classy and chic in style,
aimed at the vibrant, ambitious and smart females who live life on their own terms. The intelligent yet
easily feminine 'Everyday Couture' addresses the female of today, who is always on-the-go. Be it for a trip
to the beach or the mountainside, partying at a club or chilling with family, it covers all my moods of
styling combined with comfort and uniqueness. It satiates my millennial mind’s need for stylish clothes
which helps me always be social media ready. To sum it up, the collection of Pantaloons captures my true
spirit as it makes every moment of my life stylish.
Another brand which forms a very important part of my everyday life is – Vodafone Idea Limited. It is
important for a variety of reasons, as it affects and facilitates nearly every aspect of my present life.
Staying away from home made me realize how Vodafone made it easier for me to connect with my family
and friends and brought me closer to those living miles away from me. Be it navigating while solo
travelling, surfing while completing projects on deadline, ordering food when it’s 2 am in the morning,
Vodafone proves to be a great companion.
One phrase that describes me aptly is “Jack of all, King of none.” All my life if there is one thing I ever
wanted to be was versatile. I believe that the only limits in your life are those that you set for
yourself. Right from my childhood, I have actively followed all my hobbies along with balancing my
studies. Over a period of time, my hobbies, Dance and Theatre, realized into my passion and I started
performing professionally. My passion for dance and theatre has played a significant role in shaping
my personality. Having worked in the field of Theatre for almost five years, people always ask me
one question that why MBA now since you have ample opportunities in the field of acting. Now,
I wish to see my industry develop, I have performed a lot on stage, but the artist in me wishes to work
behind the scenes, managing and developing better opportunities for the art community. That’s when I
decided to appear for CAT and pursue an MBA. But the journey of transforming my career path from
acting to management has been one hell of a ride. The biggest turning point in my life came when just
before two months of my entrance exam, I met with a terrible accident wherein I broke both the bones
of my right leg and had to go through a surgery. My acting career, Dance and my dream of pursuing an
MBA went for a toss. It took almost a year and a half to recover completely from that injury. And I started
preparing for CAT again. But it did not end there. Right from the criticism I received for my decision to
leave acting career to fighting with my parents for allowing me to study in the most “unsafe” city – Delhi
to my mother being diagnosed with cancer three months before my college joining date; it almost left me
to a point where I had to stand by myself alone. But now when I look back, I realize that these incidents
made me who I am today and constant support from my close friends and family made it all worth fighting
for.
