Been around for almost 162 years Aditya Birla Group has impacted not only the way businesses are done but also the lives of people and economy alike. Since Seth Shiv Narayan Birla started the company as a major cotton merchant it has traversed a long way from that point. Now it is into 14 different sectors ranging from carbon black, fashion, cement, chemicals, etc. The group has also helped the education sector in India which talks a ton about its diverse portfolio. Knowingly or unknowingly we have been using goods supplied by ABG for example in clothing industry everyone at some point of time would’ve used Peter England or Allen Solly or Linen Club which all belong to the group. Personally speaking, my family has benefitted a lot through the cement sector that Aditya Group indulges itself in. As in every contractor’s tale, there exists a key development which he has to tap into to grow into something more than what he was a day ago, similarly, my dad was a contractor whose one aspect was dealing with procurement of cement for building different kinds of water supply infrastructure. He used to order tons of cement bags from Ultra-Tech cement which is the leading subsidiary of ABG in the Indian cement industry. When he was coming up as a contractor he aspired to hold a certificate of Class 1 contractor, his prime focus was on quality and used to solely depend upon Ultra-tech cement which used to provide quality goods with economic pricing. Essentially what I would like to conclude is that the ABG has improved the financial situation of my family greatly and would always have a big impact on my life going forward.
