One can go on speaking about the legacy of the conglomerate ABG and about the multitude of brand offerings it has. However, I believe, this is something that we all are already in awe of. My two cents on the same won’t be a value addition and hence, I would straightaway like to speak about my experience with ABGs first line of business- the Grasim Industries Limited and its innovative product Liva-the Viscose staple fibre, which has brought a revolution in the Indian style of dressing.
I take pride in saying that I am a proud owner of about 40-45 Liva Kurtis of the brands like W, AND, Soch, Imara and many more. My mom and me are always on a chase for the best Kurtis and dresses from Liva. They go straight into our carts as and when we spot the new designs. This little hunt of ours has nurtured a lovely bond between us and why not? Be it any occasion, don a dress from Liva and you will be the center of attraction.
In Hubert de Givenchy’s words, “The dress must follow the body of a woman, not the body following the shape of the dress”. Liva- fluid fashion, with its soft, 100% natural and eco-friendly fabric just does that. It not just transforms the garment but also the person wearing it and that’s how it has makes me look smart, chic and confident always(winks).
Albert Camus said- “In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.”
Success means different things to different people. For some it may be getting your dream job or getting into an eternal bond with the love of your life. But, how about achieving the goal of your life and still letting it go? Sacrifice is the word? General notion is that sacrifice is the trait of a selfless person, but I believe it also pushes you to achieve more. After deciding to let go off the dream of joining the defense forces, having cracked it in my first attempt, I was left with a 9-5 job with additional 2 hours of travelling and working part time as an entrepreneur. At the end of the day, all this would leave me exhausted, physically. However, the desire to achieve the best, motivated me to open my books and study. Study, till I wasn’t satisfied with my performance. After two years of struggle and a tryst with the entrepreneurial bug in me I did accomplish my goal of getting into a B-school. The journey has been a roller coaster ride so far. Yet, this is not going to be the end of the story. I aspire to join the Territorial Army one day and be a part of the elite forces once again. Perseverance and self-belief have been my mantras and I will strive to maintain the same.
