Day To day our lives are affected by the many conglomerates one of which is Aditya Birla Group.
For me, the most prominent impact that the group has had is basically because of its Fashion business.
Fashion happens to be the very first expression of success of a free individual. It is the ability and joy to
be able to bring about expression that can manifest itself in different ways for different people and these
ways are forever evolving.
Thus, the Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail has emerged as the consolidation of the branded apparel wear
in the country and has provided me with the most trusted go-to brand on which I can rely. The brand has
become the solution for each occasion and has provided variety not only in the terms of different apparels
but also in the different brands and price range that we can choose from. Be it formal wear to casual wear
or ethnic wear the various brands of the conglomerate have mad a huge impact in my dressing and fashion
sense.
These include the top four brands of India that have also been my best buys of all time: Louis Philippe,
Van Heusen, Allen Solly and Peter England — each of which boast a vast variety and elegance in each of
their clothing. Also, the country’s first fast-fashion youth brand, People is also a major definer of my
fashion sense.
Last but not the least Planet Fashion, India's largest premium international brand retailer and Pantaloons,
happen to be the savior in disguise whenever I have a requirement for clothing.
Growing up as quite a shy girl and being send to a boarding school at the age of 6 came as quite a challenge for me. To be away from home at a very young age amidst very bright minds when you seem a mediocre accidental fit was not best of the best pictures for a 6-year-old. What happens next is bullying, technically in a boarding school life is tuned to be pretty disciplined but that’s where the vices creep in. So, all in all, the journey from a timid little girl to an MBA was all opportunities in disguise.
During this course of about 18 years, there are few things that kept me on and going:
• You are your best parent: No one can understand and take care of you better than you. You owe it all to yourself. As a matter of fact, you should be the one to reward yourself or punish yourself whenever need be, this way you always know where you stand and where is the scope of improvement.
This not only makes you confident but and individual who is independent and can face the world alone
• This world is a pretty lavish stage: This was one thing I understood when I was in the 8th standard, every thing or most of the things we do are in accordance to external actions, I mean more often than not we are all reacting. So basically, we are trapped in a mighty stage where you either fit in or give the best performance, and if it is not your day, then you come under a dark red radar where proving yourself becomes your sole motive.
So, yeah! It’s those moments, how well we act and how skillfully we react.
