I will never forget 11th June 2021, 10:13 AM because this was the moment I received a conversion mail at and I was really happy. The moment was positively charged up and I immediately started planning the route.
Few days before the induction, due to a series of events I developed a mental clarity and a strong feeling that it is going to be an amazing journey and the date of the induction event proved me right as well. The online environment of the event was professional, academically charged up, and was indicating that we are all set to walk on the road to success. We gained valuable insights from our respected faculty members during that event and on the very same day, we witnessed a beautiful orientation program filled with events like “Face of the batch”, working of various clubs and committees, etc. These events were indeed a perfect start to a long expedition.

The daily routine here at DMS IIT (ISM) DHANBAD takes care of a student’s holistic development by providing the best quality education and offering a plethora of co-curricular activities. Due to such type of a mixed curriculum, a student not only develops an academic prowess but also witnesses a sharp personality development. Just because of this, so far I have realized that something is refreshing in this curriculum that stops lethargy and encourages me to work relentlessly.
The normal routine here includes Online Lectures, LAB Lectures, Case studies, Meetings of various clubs and committees, Assignments, Group projects, discussion on various topics with peers, and much more.
After a month I have found that the way of teaching here is commendable because whenever I attend any lecture I found that there is an academic component that attracts me towards the online session and I feel that the flow of information is very smooth. The pedagogy here is having a structured format that ensures an effective transfer of knowledge which is something that helps a student to inculcate all those qualities which are in synchronization with the dynamics of the market and are required to achieve a certain level of expertise in the related field.
I am a part of a committee and a club and learning a lot daily and able to see a significant change in my personality and anything that brings a positive change deserves praise. The culture is really good because members at various clubs and committees here keep on bringing new ideas and exciting tasks to ensure a regular involvement of all the students which indeed helps in picking up all important qualities and such kind of activities in a persistent manner can take the department to the heights of success. Though right now I am in the rudimentary phase of this journey, I know that the environment here is so helpful that the more I will go with the flow the more I will be in synchronization.
In a month I have noticed that students here are good at coordination because I can see great teamwork during group presentations and people are helpful also as they are always ready to help in any situation and this is something which deserves praise.
What exactly I have experienced so far:
1). Due to direct exposure to a management cloud, I have learned how to act professionally to create an eternal impression.
2). Problem-solving methods have been inculcated strategically to develop a proper roadmap.
3). I have been able to instantly cross verify my gained theoretical and practical knowledge under the guidance of highly experienced faculty members.
4). Various webinars and workshops have helped me a lot to increase my knowledge and helped me in developing an all-new set of skills as well.
5). Regular interactions with faculty members during online sessions have helped me in clarification of doubts
The biggest reason for my euphoria is that I have already experienced what I was expecting and still the journey is there. I think that the inquisitive nature of a person is the driving factor during an odyssey and all a person needs to do is just wait for the right opportunity to come and then make the most out of it. So far the experience has been amazing and it was a little difficult for me to define it in words because the feeling I have experienced is joyful.
