Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi has concluded the final placement process in virtual mode for the 214 students of the batch of 2019-21 with the highest CTC of 58.8 LPA. 102 companies participated in the final placements process at FMS Delhi, with 84 companies making 228 offers. Despite the difficulties due to COVID Pandemic and economic slowdown, the institute continued its rich legacy of achieving 100% placements with highest-ever average CTC of 26.2 LPA and the median package stood at 24 LPA with average package of the top quartile being 38.56 LPA. The institute received its highest ever number of PPOs and a whopping 36% increase in the number of Product Management offers being made as compared to last year. For the first time, 77% of the offers were above 20 LPA with an average CTC of the top 100 offers at 31.8 LPA. The average CTC for female candidates also increased to 26.4 LPA.
This placement season saw participation of 23 New recruiters including BMW, Ericsson, HCL, Jubilant FoodWorks, Myntra, Paytm, Purplle, Qualcomm Ventures amongst others. Top brands on campus included Amazon, American Express, Bain & Co., Boston Consulting Group, Flipkart, HUL, ITC Limited, Kearney, Loreal, Media.Net, Morgan Stanley, Microsoft amongst others.
Continuing the trend of the last few years, e-commerce companies recruited in large numbers from FMS. E-commerce giants offered coveted product and program management roles. The Operations/IT/E-commerce domain received 34% of the total offers from companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Go-MMT, HCL, Microsoft, Media.net, Myntra, Paytm, UnitedHealth Group.
30% of the candidates got placed in Consulting, Strategy and General Management domain. Prominent recruiters offering roles in this domain were ABG, Accenture, Bain & Co., BCG, Capgemini, EY, IBM, JSW, Kearney, Reliance, RPG and TAS.
Apart from legacy recruiters in the FMCG sector, sales/marketing roles were offered by the Pharmaceutical, Consumer Electronics, Retail, E-Commerce, Industrial Goods and Automobile sectors. A total of 20% of offers were made in this domain with recruiters like Asian Paints, Dr. Reddy’s, Ericsson, HUL, ITC, Johnson & Johnson, Loreal, Mondelez, Nestle, RB, Samsung, Tata Sky, Xiaomi.
15% of the total offers were from the Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI) domain with roles being offered in Front end Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Finance, Corporate Banking, Wealth Management, Treasury etc. The companies that took part in the process include American Express, Bank of America, HDFC, Morgan Stanley, Qualcomm Ventures and RBS amongst others.
