Starting from the first cell phone of my family with Idea network in 2004 to my IIM Visakhapatnam interview suit from Allen Solly, ABG was always there with me. When I entered my new home that provided its warmth to me and my family, I was happy... Thanks to UltraTech Cement. When as a kid, I wore that new dress on Diwali, all dressed up like a doll, I was happy… Thanks to Pantaloons. When I grew up and went away from my home and called my mom from airport after landing, I was relieved and happy… Thanks to Idea. “Aditya Birla Group” these are Three words, with infinite emotions and limitless memories of people across India.
ABG is deep rooted in Indian households. With its ever-growing business, it always outperforms its Competitors. It operates in 34 countries across 5 continents. It started taking a shape of conglomerate from as early as 1930. And now, it has a renowned global presence and is a leader in relevant sectors. ABG is actively contributing to society too. They aim to build a better, sustainable way of life for the weaker sections of society. It is running 50 schools, 20 hospitals, 4500 self help groups. It has social initiatives in countries like Egypt, Thailand, Philippines, US etc.
So, now this is about my challenging journey of P2I transformation, that is, from a
Pampered kid of the family to an
Independent woman. Being youngest in the family, I was always the most pampered one. I did my schooling and under graduation from my hometown only. So, I always stayed at home. I never had any experience of how it is to live on your own, managing everything yourself, taking care of yourself and establishing your career outside the comfort zone of home. I was working in an IT consultancy service, which was again near my home only. Living in NCR, everything was in my area only. I never got any chance to step out of the small world that I had created. I was very comfortably living in that and resisted any change.
But then I realized that my potential and capabilities were getting wasted. I was not growing because of this. So, I challenged myself, I challenged that little girl in me to transform into an independent lady who can achieve whatever she wants, provided enough efforts are put into. So, I started preparing for CAT exam and finally converted IIM Visakhapatnam. Now, here I am living on my own expenses, taking care of myself and doing hard work towards academics and extra activities. This is making me evolve into an empowered woman of strength and dignity.
During this evolving and empowering journey of mine, ABG has always been an inspiration. The efforts that Aditya Birla Group put in to empower women is commendable. They help women connect and grow together. This group provides women diverse platform to excel in life. So, here I am proud of Aditya Birla Group for empowering women and proud of myself for empowering myself. Now, I am confident enough to deal with any situation of life and grow along with it.
