IIM Udaipur is one of the premier management institutes of the country. Officially opened in 2011, the institute moved to its permanent campus in October 2016. What makes IIM Udaipur unique can be seen from the first site of institute. The permanent campus is spread across 300 acres of land and is surrounded by lush green grass. The institute aims to set up new heights in the field of management by focusing on academic excellence. Discipline in classrooms sessions is of utmost importance and students abide by the core values of the institute. Entrepreneurship is fostered by the institute and a specific cell and committee is established to cater to the entrepreneurship aspirations of the interested students. Learning has no boundaries at IIM Udaipur. The institute provides facility to students to apply for international internship in either of 4 countries specified by the institute. Student exchange is another opportunity for the students of IIM Udaipur to spend a trimester at one of the coveted B-Schools in France or Germany. Summer School Program is another initiative that helps students from inside and outside India to experience the culture in Rajasthan and perform research in interested domains.

Not just international, but students of IIM Udaipur get opportunity to rural exposure. Under the Rural Immersion Program, all the students of the college visit villages of Rajasthan, spend time with the people there and conduct market research and focus group discussions.

Which ABG company would you want to work for and why?

I would like to work for Birla Sun Life Insurance, which is one of the leading Life Insurance company in Indian market. The reason that I would like to join Birla Sun Life Insurance is that I have prior experience working in General Insurance sector. I have done my summer internship at Reliance General Insurance for 2 months in 2018. The project was to apply strategies to identify the key enablers for increasing the online insurance distribution of Reliance General Insurance through the medium of website. I have interest in working in Strategy or Marketing domain at Birla Sun Life Insurance.
