The best way to find one’s inner self is to observe peace and calmness of the mind. Heartfulness Meditation session was organized on 2
nd July 2017, under the guidance of Mr. Prashanth Vasu, Senior Partner with McKinsey India. Heartfulness Programme, It provided a brilliant platform to observe serenity and opportunity to explore the center of inner peace. Students who have completed the preparatory sessions have been given a user id and password for the Heartfullness App, where they can access virtual trainers for meditation program.
Student life is that period of our life when we are stuck between classes, exams, extra-curricular, assignments and many other activities which largely impact stress levels. In this over paced and hectic lifestyle students do not get much time to relax their mind. To get first in the race of life, they lack somewhere behind and accumulate more and more stress for themselves. Meditation is beneficial at all ages, particularly for students, as it is the stepping stone to peace of mind, good sustainability, concentration. The students said that the practice of meditation has helped them to gain alertness and greater resistance to the physical effects of stress during exams.
Meditation not only helps us to cope with student life but also in long run, meditation is the path of overall holistic development of an individual. Great Lakes is truly a place where “where the Mental Strength blends with the Physical Might”. As Uncle Bala says “
