As a new IIM, the institute had quite a few handicaps such as a makeshift campus, less permanent faculty and less lucrative job opportunities for the students. But it turned these obstacles into opportunities such as being a pioneer in digital education in the premier management education space. And exploring summer internship opportunities with a new FMCG giant Patanjali, which only recruited from IIM-Ahmedabad and Lucknow earlier was another such successful attempt.
