Part A-

Aditya Birla Group is presently 3rd largest Indian private sector conglomerate, so it very unlikely that anyone has never experienced the rich heritage of ABG, and its same from me.

ABG has affected my life in many ways, I still remember the very first sim my family ever had was of Idea, and we are still using it even after 15-16 years, and a lot of memories is attached to it, some of them are good others not quite, and the most important one for me is the day when I received “Ok is Ok" message from my dad.

I belong from a defense family, so we do move a lot from one state to another. It was September. 2004, when my dad got a transfer letter, he was posted out to Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and reporting date was somewhere in December. So he left for Andaman somewhere around 20th Dec.

It was Sunday, 26th December 2004, for me it was just a normal day, but it soon changed when I heard about the tsunami that struck Andaman. For me it was like a nightmare, I was still in my 2nd class I didn't know how to react at that time, I was scared to know what actually happened to my father is he fine or not, I wanted to know everything about it as fast as I could but at the same time I was too scared of the bad news to even try to find about what happened there. I wanted to cry a lot but I couldn't because I knew, if I did everyone else who is trying to hold it together may breakdown too.

All this continued for the next two days, it was the morning of 28th when we received a message from my dad saying "ok is ok". After reading the message the way I felt was something I can never forget.

Part B-

I am a person who is full of medical problems, like bony growth in my knee due to which I was not able to do any activity that puts a lot of strain on my knee. I was in my 12th when suddenly I started to have severe headaches followed by nose bleeds. Due to all these issues I was on a medical leave for somewhere around 2months from my school.

The day when I finally went back, nearly all the important topics like integration, probability etc. was already covered and our mock pre board was just 2 weeks away. And I failed, our school would not have issued me my board admit card. So I started working on the topics that I missed, it was tough, I rarely slept for more than 3-4hrs in a day, and because of my migraine issue it was more tough for me to make it through the situation without ending up in hospital and it did happen but luckily after my boards.

The only reason I was able to overcome this & able to score in boards was because of the goal I had since my childhood, i.e. to become a social entrepreneur and for that I need to get into good universities through which I can gain all the knowledge that I require to achieve my goal, and this is only possible if I am able to score in my boards.
