Part A : Why is Adithya Birla Group a big part of my life?
Founded in 1857 by Seth Shiv Narayan Birla and headquartered in Worli, Mumbai, Adithya Birla Group has played a crucial role in changing the face of Indian Multinational Conglomerates. The sheer number of brands and businesses owned by Adithya Birla Group today, speaks volumes about the awe-inspiring journey that they have been through.
During the various stages of my life, I have used different products of ABG, which I often correlate with significant moments, ranging from buying an Idea sim card on getting my first cell phone to buying my very first set of formal wear from Allen Solly. It goes to show how quality products and services can add value to the life of its customers and not just in a material sense. Ever since my first encounter with these brands, I have religiously continued to use these as well as the other products that ABG has to offer. All the more incredible is the fact that, ABG never disappoints, be it with respect to the choices available or the high quality of the products. I am always pleasantly surprised by the collection available, when I walk into an Allen Solly or Forever 21 showroom. It also brings home, affordable, everyday fashion through Pantaloons and Liva. Moreover, it has succeeded in changing the landscape of men’s fashion through premium brands like Louis Philippe and Peter England.
Going beyond the consumer brands, it would be criminal to not mention the role that the Adithya Birla Group has played in developing the infrastructure of this country and in the advancement of the cement industry through Ultratech Cement.
The contribution that Adithya Birla Group has made to every sector it has entered is of momentous significance to the economic as well as overall growth of the nation. Here is hoping that they continue to soar the skies with every endeavour that they embark on.
