Aditya Birla Group (ABG) is the 3rd largest group in terms of revenue, behind only of TATA group & Reliance Industries Limited (RIL). The ABG has 1,20,000 employees with a presence in over 35 countries. It has impacted the lives of millions & millions directly or indirectly.
When I got the opportunity to write this article, I had to search about ABG because I had no known only a few companies of ABG those are Ultratech Cement, Grasim Industries & Idea (New Vodafone-Idea), ABG's mutual funds & ABG Sun life insurance. This is also because I am a stock market investor & these few companies have given me good returns over periods. I started searching for different companies of ABG. I came to know that 3 of my favourite brands & 1 place that I am used to visiting very frequently is owned by ABG. I was shocked that I was frequently involved with companies of ABG yet, I had no idea about it.

Let me give you a hint. 1 of my hobbies is "Being update about fashion" You must have got what I am talking about. Yes, you are absolutely right. I am talking about Van Heusen, Allen Solly & Peter England. The place I was talking about is Pantaloons. To be honest, I had known to date that Pantaloons was the part of Future Group. I had no idea that ABG has owned Pantaloons to enhance the reach of its fashion & retail arm.

Pantaloons has made the prices of the clothes very affordable. The customer service & experience of Pantaloons is one of the best you can get. This made me change my shopping place from Central to Pantaloons. Today, as I am writing this article, I am proud to say that my wardrobe is full of Van Heusen, Allen Solly & Peter England clothes & accessories. A common person like me can nurture this hobby thanks to ABG.
