Started in 1857, Aditya Birla Group is a fortune 500 company and owns various lifestyle brands like Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly and Peter England. Apart from that they also own UltraTech Cement, Aditya Birla Capital and Hindalco Industries. I have used multiple products of Aditya Birla Group and have always been satisfied with the quality offered be it a suit purchased from Louis Philippe or a Polo from Pantaloons. Aditya Birla Group has redefined the way I dress up.
My journey with Aditya Birla Group started when I was in school and my mother used to pack up my lunch using Freshwrapp; she believed that my food will remain fresh and healthy. If a brand can earn the trust of a mother in India then I believe it is it’s biggest achievement.
My first ever sim card was of Idea Cellular and I have been using it for the past nine years because wherever I have been the signal strength has been excellent. Idea has been my first mobile internet experience be it 2G or 3G and I have never felt the need to change to a different operator.
I still remember my father saying that UltraTech Cement is the best choice for cement when our new house was being constructed. This is the brand image and trust which Aditya Birla Group has made since it's inception more than 150 years ago and it will be a dream for anyone to work in a company with a history this rich.
Challenges which we have faced and how we overcame it
Life is not easy and even more so if you look different, dress up different and everyone including your friends is laughing at you just because some teacher passed some racist remarks. These things make you question everything in life. All the crying and loneliness which you feel keeps you awake in the night and when fear and depression creeps in your bones there are suicidal thoughts that come to your mind.
Often, the victims of racial bullying carry scars of their trauma throughout their lives. But that is not the end that is not how we deal with racist bullying. But racism is what teaches us how to deal with people. All the racism and bullying which we face teaches us how we could have handled the situation differently and how we could have not allowed people to get under our skin. It has been the most important trait which I have learned and has been the hallmark be it in school, college, job or now during my post-graduation. Every small thing gives us time to introspect and help us become a better version of ourselves. So it is better if we start talking to people about it and there are various social groups which can help us. We can deal with racial bullying by ignorance because it is one of the best ways to reply to bullies. We can help ourselves by staying connected with people because talking can help us a lot and keep us polite and calm.
