I remember my first sim being Idea, those days in my village there were not many operators and Idea with its famous tagline "Walk and talk" was used widely in our village compared to the others and knowing it's an Indian operator from Aditya Birla made us all the more proud, When I was told to write an article on Aditya Birla the first thing I did like all the rest of the homosapiens I googled, and I found out that it operates in around 35 countries and employs more than a lakh of people. I went on reading and soon realized that I have been using Aditya Birla products long before and believe me I was super proud.
Aditya Birla has made an impact on not only my life but everyone in India with their social and corporate initiatives, especially the 2500 villages they are working where they have zeroed in on 300 villages whose lives are going to change for the better by the Making of a Model Village entails ensuring self-reliance in all aspects viz., education, healthcare and family welfare, infrastructure, agriculture and watershed management, and working towards sustainable livelihood patterns. Fundamentally, ensuring that their development reaches a stage wherein village committees take over the complete responsibility and the teams become dispensable. It is against this backdrop that one will dwell on the Group's experience in sanitation.
