Aditya Birla Group is undoubtedly one of the biggest Indian multinational conglomerates, who have been soaring higher and higher in the sky over the years. Their expertise ranges from cements, metals, viscose yarn, fertilizers to fashion, IT and the telecom industry. Hence, there is very little portion of our lives that has not been touched by the legendary ABG.
Coming to why Aditya Birla Group is BIG in my life. We recently shifted to our new house, whose construction was completed just 2 months back, so the memory of visiting the construction site pretty frequently is still fresh. Guess what? My dad chose to build it using UltraTech cement! Pantaloons is bae when it comes to shopping; Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly, Forever 21 have made global fashion so accessible for us Indians now, no? Thanks to ABG, yet again! ABG Chemicals produces phosphates for seafood(Pearl), bakery(Delice), meat(Gusto) and cheese as well(Corino). I’ve always seen my Ma use Freshwrapp to foil our food to keep them fresh. To summarise, ABG has successfully covered the “Roti-Kapda-Makaan” trilogy in my life!
The BIG-ness doesn’t end there. ABG has reduced distance between loved ones through their telecom services, Vodafone and Idea. And there are so many other aspects which they covered, which I was not even aware of until recent times. The Indian railway service I so frequently avail, uses huge amounts of Birla Copper to fulfill their requirement. Birla carbon nanoparticles in the car’s tires make my rides safer. To top all this off, ABG is there even in my palm! Hindalco aluminum makes the cover glass of my smartphone.
So what I mean to say is, Aditya Birla Group is there wherever I turn my gaze to. And I’m sure all other Indians do the same; everyone is not just as aware of their presence in all the little things, which make the Indian life bigger and better.
