How I overcame challenges to achieve my ambition
It was in the month of September 2 years back, I was diagnosed with a slipped disc in my L5 S1. I was in the undergraduate final year and could not attend the classes as a doctor had advised complete bed rest for two months, needless to say, I just managed to pass in that semester. CAT was in November and I could see my dream of getting into a coveted B-school fading away. I appeared for the exam anyhow but could score just 68.9 percentile. It was a time when I could not sit up straight on a chair even for an hour due to excruciating pain. To add to my nightmare my weight shot up to 92 kilos due to two months of inactivity. I had to go through a lot of physiotherapies, took to healthy eating and started exercising under medical guidance. I started preparing for CAT again and used to alternatively study for 60 minutes and exercised for 20 to alleviate the pain. After 8 months my health started to improve and I also joined the gym. Initially, I could just do light aerobics then gradually I started doing CrossFit and circuit training and was able to lose 20 kilos. Still, up to date, I have to take care while exercising that I don’t injure my back. I managed to score 94 percentile in CAT 2018 and joined XIMB. All of this made me resilient and I have learned the lesson that we should take care of our mind and body alike in order to be successful.

The basic element needed for building a house is cement and Ultratech Cement has a stronghold of the market.S
