The time is anxious and unprecedented, and no one can predict what the future will bring to everyone, but by this article, I will try to relate the situation to the Formula One and an MBA student's life. Why Formula one? Because being someone who has a particular inclination towards this sports and association with the International Formula Student event of India-Formula Bharat for the last 4 years, I think it can be an apt example and relatable. So what is formula one, where 10 constructors, 20 drivers, and 20 race car fight to be at the top? But wait, is it a one-step process, Definitely no. Multiple races every year, and some years like 2020, it can be half the ones planned and cumulative performance matters, and each and every issue of race. They can change the rank and so as an MBA where the 21 months journey will have such steps to improve day by day and need to be the better version of yourself to compete and win. There is no such world champion tag to be given. Neither CGPA nor some job will define your future, but yes, They will matter to some extent as you may get the feeling that the hard work is definitely paid off but in long term, MBA is all about how you explored and came out with the better version of you. In F1, you team up with a driver who also wants to win the championship, and when both of the drivers are driving the same car, it is quite competitive for sure, but in the end, the team /constructor will also want to be at the top. Similarly, in MBA, you will be part of many groups for projects and assignments and even for competitions, and the cumulative goal will always be to be at the top to get the maximum but definitely with a personal plan to get the best out of this MBA in terms of placement and academics. A perfect balance between the team goal and personal goal can only make you an efficient management student. But you are not the only one wants this win or working on your wi in F1; there are set of crew and staff doing throughout the year and on your toes when you are racing in the circuit where every mile second matters. These are your friends in your life and family who stand by you whenever you need them, and these are the people who really want you to do the best in life. When one overtakes, don't work in one corner. These people will be there, motivating you over the radio to recover using some other technique. But one person who will be talking to you will be your race engineer like that an MBA has that one person be it your mom, dad or brother-sister or girlfriend boyfriend or your best friend. There will be times when you will be frustrated, demotivated, and feel like giving up, but this person should be calm enough to understand you and your vehicle more than yourself and your strengths and where you can do well. Technically when is the best time to use scenarios and well aware of the other team members and their thought process. Scenario 7 in F1-Although there is no confirmation, like every team, this seems to be a codeword between the team and the driver indicating when to push for the full power of the engine likewise there will be a situation where you have push really hard to go ahead in MBA It takes only 1.8-4 seconds in F1 for a crew to change the tire of an F1 car when the tire condition is not good enough to race. There will be a situation during an MBA when you will be facing such a problem when your motivation will not be that good, so take a small break. It should be as well as possible and do something you like a bike ride or a party in a Dhaba or some con calls with your graduation buddies or play some games and get back to business as soon as possible. Let's say you don't have the best car and you are not the best driver as well, but you do have the average vehicle and average driving skills, and when you are in F1, that means you have surpassed F2, F3 and well versed with the race, so that doesn't mean comparisons works here. You can use the ordinary skills to be in the Top 5 rather than aiming to be at the podium, and it is better to have 5 average races than 1 podium and 4 bottom races. If you don't have work experience/ some core finance skills/some big graduation college name in your CV then try to accept it and move ahead with the journey rather than thinking again and again. What if my Term Exam didn't go well and if I was not selected in a company. The simple answer is a 20 Months race in MBA, and those who work really hard will definitely succeed and those who didn't want to even try when they are down. A small example of how things work in F1, recently Red Bull racing driver Max hit his vehicle just 20 Minutes ago and trust me, it is tough to get back to the race, but his crew did that and got the car up and running in 16 Minutes and the end result was Rank 2 in the race. Snippet from -https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/article.verstappen-was-25-seconds-away-from-not-starting-the-race-reveals-horner.3JoLkD3G9SwTg0ZylfMLaj.html Why such an example? Sometimes you may see a person break down during the Placement season due to some failures and some personal issues. Still, the sooner you lift him up earlier, that person will get up and may do wonders and even better than who was already leading him before him. The best part of an MBA is there will always be a chance to recover, but if you are not motivated to lift yourself after doing all the hard work and cracking CAT, it will be difficult.
