IFMR Graduate School of Business released the interim placement report for the 18
th batch of 2017-19. The highest salary offered so far has been INR 14 Lacs per annum while the average salary is INR 9.5 lacs per annum. Last year the average CTC offered has been INR 8.3 lacs per annum. Incidentally, this is the 1
st batch of outgoing students who are being awarded MBA degree from IFMR GSB, KREA University. Earlier, IFMR used to offer PGDM program.
Students were placed in Banking, Consulting, Financial services and other sectors. “In 30 Interview days, 70 % of students have been placed in 32 Companies. Profiles offered were in Quantitative Finance, Research Analyst, Financial Modeling, Relationship Manager, Sales, Wealth Manager, Business Analyst, Credit Rating, Risk Financial Modeling and Research.
The top recruiters were CRISIL, Credit Suisse, JP Morgan Chase, HSBC, Deloitte, HDFC Bank, KPMG among others”, informed Prof. Nagarani, Placement Chairperson at IFMR GSB, Krea University.

IFMR GSB currently offers a full-time MBA program in Finance, Marketing, IT & Operations, HR, and Quantitative Finance, with additional specializations in Banking Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) & Data Sciences (Business Analytics), PhD programme and open and customized management development programmes (MDPs). The pedagogy offers a mix of classroom and industry exposure.
Intake is through CAT/XAT/GMAT/GRE/CMAT. Standard cut off scores for last year’s admission for fresher’s at IFMR were - CAT/XAT – 80 percentile and CMAT-90 percentile. The
Early Decision Round (EDR) is designed keeping in mind the notice period for any applicants who are employed and need to serve notice period.
The last date to apply for Early Decision Round (EDR) is Jan 31, 2019. Applications are available
