IIM Indore is the first time I have been away from home in my life and to be at such a great place is an absolute privilege. I have made friends with people all over India, people with and without work experience and people from different streams (other than but including engineers!) To see such a diversity at one place is awesome. To me, the journey is always more enjoyable than the achievement of the final goal itself. Let me take you through my journey of IIM Indore. One of the many things I enjoy the most is playing chess. Rajneesh is my chess buddy. We used to play chess in my room whenever we are free and that is a very fun time. (He is yet to beat me!) I also like to play cricket and let me tell you we have a community of south people who play very good cricket. I don’t understand a word they speak during the match and I am the only one outside their community who plays with them. Viplav is my point of contact for any subject related doubt I have. He has helped me greatly in understanding Finance related subjects. These are some of my crazy batchmates.
Aditya Birla Capital
ABG being the third largest conglomerate in India and having such a diverse portfolio, it is difficult to choose a company because being associated with ABG itself is a good feeling. That being said, I would love to work with Aditya Birla Capital. ABFSG ranks among the top 5 fund managers in India and I would love to go in the financial sector (as all engineers do!) I would love to know more about ABG ‘s culture because to me, as I said before, the journey matters the most.
