MBA is said to be an overall experience and an improvement in your overall personality from when you enter the B-school to when you leave the B-school. This overall transformation cannot be achieved without having a residential programme inside the B-school campus.

The campus plays a very important role in carrying out a successful residential programme as a beautiful campus enhances your experience multiple times. The campus is surrounded by the hills on all sides, is set to have a number of lakes adding to the beautiful infrastructure, and is spread across 300 acres in Balicha. The campus is based on the concept of the green campus, which is in line with the international goal of reducing the pollution and being environment-friendly. The campus is designed to meet the needs such as water, energy, electricity etc internally.

Having an advantage of a residential programme gives us an opportunity to interact with students from different parts of the country as well as students from other countries, and celebrate the different festivals that are supported by different communities in India as well as outside, thus giving us an overall experience to learn about different cultures. This plays an important role since as managers we have to learn to handle people from different backgrounds and cultures. This event also helps to strengthen the relationship among students of the classes. We have students from various backgrounds such as engineering, architects, finance, commerce etc on the campus. Thus helping us to interact with students from different backgrounds and learn about their experience and thus help in learning about new things.

Classroom experiences also play a major role during your MBA. In the classroom, you get ideas, thoughts from students of various background and cultures from different parts of the world thus helping in learning about the people perspective in different verticals of education and enhancing your overall experience. We also have different clubs such as Dhruva, octaves etc in the college. These clubs perform different activities in the college thus enhancing our learning moreover we sit late nights enjoying the different activities performed by these clubs.

The campus has recently achieved the 5 star(highest level of rating) for its master plan from GRIHA, which is the national system for Green (Energy efficient) buildings and campuses. The complete campus will be designed in such a way that the energy is minimized and a solar farm would be built to meet the entire electricity needs of the campus.

Which ABG Company would you want to work at and why?

I would like to join the Aditya Birla Retail. The retail is one of the fastest growing sector in the world and is supposed to serve the needs of the major percentage of the population.

I have already worked for retail companies in different parts of the world. I have worked in different roles across the sector hence understand the sector and the consumer behaviour.

Thus, my working in Aditya Birla Retail could be beneficial for both me and the organization as I can share the different experience that I have learned in different projects in the retail sector and I could learn about the Indian retail which is one of the fastest growing sectors in the world.
