June 13th, 2022; Udaipur: IIM Udaipur, a premier IIM recognized for its global accreditation and rankings, has sparked a lot of interest for its newly launched PGDBA-WE (Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration for Working Executives) course. It is a twenty-month Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration program for working executives,
who have at least three years of full-time post-qualification work experience. The program offers classes on weekends in an online format and two 1-week on-campus modules. The course is taught by world-class facultiesof IIM Udaipur and aims to help professionals improve their performance and career growth by laying a solid foundation and deep grasp of business management. The selection was through scores obtained in GMAT/GRE/CAT or in the examination conducted by IIM Udaipur, as well as performance in personal interview. IIMU had earlier conducted the course in an on-campus mode and changed the format to online keeping in mind the demand of aspirants to have the convenience to do the course from their locations.
The curriculum lays a strong foundation in management basics as well as elective course options. The classroom sessions use a case-based learning approach, which brings real-life situations into the classroom and encourages students to participate actively in their learning. Seminars, simulations, games, role-plays, guest lectures, and group activities are used to supplement the case approach. Participants are required to adapt, negotiate, and solve problems while honing their interpersonal and communication abilities.
The course is open with company sponsorship but has found favor with companies who have supported their employees to apply for the course.

The course also aims to help participants identify their own unique identities, purpose, vision, and objectives.Upon successfully meeting all requirements of the program, including those concerning the examinations, participants will be awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration for Working Executives by IIM Udaipur. They will also be accorded Alumni Status.
