Aditya Birla is one of the strongest developing brands in the Indian sub-continent. One of the first brands of the Aditya Birla Group that I remember using was my first cell phone with an Idea sim card. This telecom service provider played a major role in my teenage in order to help me connect with my friends on a day to day basis. This brand came up a fun advertisement that had the ‘Honey bunny’ song. This funny-cum-cute song was one of my USPs in order to make my mom laugh when she used to get angry at me for any reason.
Another brand that has been a constant in my life from my childhood to my office days is the Freshwrapp foil. This used to keep my parathas soft and ready to eat.
As and when I grew up to be an adult, I started to shop for my clothes based on my own choice. When shopping comes into the picture, my first stop is at a Pantaloons store. The main thing that I love about Pantaloons is the wide range of variety that they have in their store. From traditional wear to western wear to semi-formal wear, it has been my one stop solution for my shopping needs.
Another personal favourite brand in the clothing sector is Forever 21. There is no other tangible happiness other than getting a Forever 21 gift card on your birthday. This is how Aditya Birla Group has majorly impacted my day to day life since my childhood.
PART B:
The biggest challenge of my life was moving outside my comfort zone. Comfort zone is a settled method of working that requires little effort and yields only barely acceptable results.
I first realised this issue when I was in my 9th standard. I was a trained classical dancer for about 5 years before that. As I had learnt Bharatnatyam, that was my comfort zone for this particular timeline. I performed multiple times on stage, but only classical dance. I never tried any other dance form as I was always shy to openly dance in any other dance form as it required a sense of boldness which I thought I didn’t have in me. I tried to address this issue in my 9th standard when we had to organise a show to bid farewell to our seniors. I decided to audition for the contemporary routine. I made this decision on the literal end moment. That was a major step that I took in order to overcome my shyness, to come out of my comfort zone. I was one of the best performers for the show. The amount of happiness and the sense of achievement that I felt after giving that performance was immense. And after that day, never have I refrained from trying something new in my life; whether it is travelling to new places or whether it is learning something new from peers. There have been many instances in my life that made me realise that I am trying to stick with my comfort zone; and every time I realise this I try my best to turn the tables and do what is right.
A point of realisation that one is sulking into his/her comfort zone is one of the biggest hit that a person can get in his life. You can either come out of it or you can keep sulking in your comfort zone.
