What is life without challenges? Challenges test your attitude and push you beyond your limits. Challenges make you adaptable to new and difficult situations and make you a better individual. When life throws no challenges at you, you should challenge yourself by setting greater targets for yourself. Life in a comfort zone is not a life worth living. You have to continuously challenge yourself in order to achieve your ambitions.
Getting into a premier B school was a dream for me. Hence, I started preparing for CAT. The first step of facing any challenge is to identify it and making a plan to solve it. Coming from a vernacular background, I had my biggest challenge in the verbal ability section
. Preparing for CAT was a very big challenge for me as I had to attend college every day and prepare for my graduation final year exams as well. I planned in detail to overcome this problem. Every day, I used to set a tougher target for myself. I devoted extra time for the VA section. After hours of relentless practice, I became good at verbal ability. But just being good is not good enough. In CAT, you lock your horns with the best of the best. I did not waste a single second of my preparation time. With continuous practice, I was able to deliver my best performance and get into one of my dream colleges. The biggest challenge in my life made me a more organized and structured individual. I learned to manage my time well. It can be said that challenges are essential for your excellence as they push you out of your comfort zone and make you prepared for life.
