Part – A: Why Aditya Birla Group is big in your life
Beit the apparel we wear, the crops that farmers grow, the tires that automobiles run on, the cement used to construct our buildings, the supermarkets we visit, the insulation used for electricity or the network we use for communication, Aditya Birla Group has got it all covered. With the innovation, capability and culture that the world leader possesses, it is a matter with zilch doubt that the premium global conglomerate is big in our lives. I resonate strongly with its products since it has a reach of more than 400 cities and no matter which city I travel to, I can always count on its brands to help me through my needs. It is not only a service provider for basic and luxury desires that I want in my daily life, but also provides me with a sense of responsibility and dutifulness when I see its programmes that empower so many dreams. Contributing to community initiatives, the underprivileged, hospitals, rural development shows how beyond business, one can add immense value to the society. The juxtaposing of technology and harmony shows me that ambition and values add up positively when you are sincere towards both. The group has been a crucial factor of the Independence movement and post it too, showing us how a family legacy has maintained the country’s interests at all points of time. A world leader in recycling aluminium cans and eco-friendly plants, it has encouraged me to produce lesser waste and use products that are recyclable. A legacy to admire and a work ethic to practice, what is not to take an inspiration as. It is also a one stop solution for all my financial needs. Aditya Birla Group products give me a sense of belonging and quality that makes life easier and better. As the group says, ‘We know that every small moment is big for you’ and I trust it with every small
moment of my life.
Part – B: How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far
Quoting Bill Bradley, “Ambition is the path to success. Persistence is the vehicle you arrive in”. I have had miniscule to big ambitions all my life. A life that is just a little more than two decades old and the learnings have been immense. One of my biggest challenges in life was to open up to new opportunities, people and situations. Being an introvert meant living in a shell of thoughts and comfort. I stepped out of it, day by day, facing people and situations even if they meant pain. This way I slowly adapted to not fearing unwanted opinions and deconstructive feedback and express myself the best way to the world. This paved the way to achieve my ambition of getting into a good B-school, however, it was far from easy. Competition that I never experienced before, time constraints and managing internships with coaching were just the tip of the ice-berg. The real struggle was the mind. This was the phase of life where I struggled with disowning negative thoughts and unmotivated days. It has taught me a lot and has led me to promote positive mental health to all students in my capacity. What helped me get through it was my hard work and consistent trials to achieve. One of my biggest ambitions in life remains to open an NGO and tap the undiscovered art potential in underprivileged children who are not given a platform to showcase their work. It will be very challenging but all my previous challenges have taught me to be consistent and sincere in my way towards the goal and the path becomes clearer than ever. Challenges are not present for struggle, but to make one stronger towards the ambition.
