As I crossed through the lush green boulevard of Qutab Institutional Area, I got goosebumps on the very sight of the historic brown building of IIFT Bhawan that stood so stern reflecting the legacy of a quinquagenarian brand. I was greeted and welcomed by the IIFT’s iconic brand symbol, the Wings of Wisdom, symbol of knowledge which always inspires you to scale new heights. And above it, is the circular roof called the “Top of the World” reminding you where you stand as a proud IIFTian.
The day-one started off with a bang and a warm and wonderful introduction from the administration and the senior batch. My batchmates are some of the brightest and smartest minds in the country and I see it as a great privilege and opportunity to learn from and work with them. IIFT is known for its cultural diversity attracting the students not only from almost every part of the country but also from other nationalities. Besides the diversity, I also observed that there is one culture here that resonates within every soul “
The IIFT Culture”, something that makes you ready for future challenges, instilling qualities like discipline, dedication, perseverance and determination making you a complete IIFTian.
The course curriculum is so amazing that it not only imparts theoretical knowledge but helps you experience real-world scenarios with various workshops. The student-run bodies of IIFT are known for their expertise and achievements in the area of their respective interest, nurturing the students and maintaining the Institute’s grandeur. The presence of Centres for International Trade in Technology and World Trade Organisation provides us with an ample opportunity to learn and understand deeper insights about the World Trade.
