The Colour Blue is for education and the colour Grey means it can either become black or turn white, the conscience”. Situated at the foothills of the Himalayas, our 200-acre campus charms everyone. It has one of the
biggest amphitheatre, I have seen till date. For me, the highlight of the campus is the hostel (for obvious reasons). It is kitted with a radiant cooling system which makes it to be one of the most energy-efficient systems among all the other IIMs. And yes! I can guarantee that our campus serves the
tastiest mess food!
Our campus takes pride in saying that in the last 7years our alumnus has stated 11 Start-Ups and they are running successfully. We are the first among new IIMs to have our own
INCUBATION Centre- Foundation for Innovation and Entrepreneur Development (FIED).
While mentioning that our campus resides at the foothills of the Himalayas, many questions might have popped inside your minds vis a vis the places to visit etc., so here are the names of places that could be visited any time- Nainital, Auli, Mukteswar etc. (We often take our bikes to places like this to freshen ourselves from the hectic schedule of management education). Our institute among its peers, is the only one to have a Bikers Club and it was the brainchild of our ex-director Dr. Gautam Sinha. And guess what! The club is pretty active and has already explored places like Bhutan, Nepal etc.!
Yes, with all these fabulous facts, we do have a minor locational disadvantage (nearest airport is 250Km away), but we have always motivated ourselves as “the institute which runs on the Start-Up model” and that might be the reason for producing so many entrepreneurs. I am proud to be a student of IIM Kashipur and would love to see it increase its Uniqueness exponentially.
Which ABG Company I would love to work for –
I would love to work in Hindalco Industries Limited because of my pre MBA work experience was in the similar field. I did my post-graduation in thermal power plant engineering and if given a chance, the company would get a person with similar technical background and experience with managerial education. At IIM Kashipur I have taken Operations, Marketing and Analytics as my majors which will help me in driving any managerial decision, the organisation will want me to take.
