Background: I had around 3.5 years of work experience with Capgemini, wherein my client was one of the world's leading Pizza QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) chain.
Interviewer: *Highlighting some points in my CV*, "I see you have spent more than 3 years with 'XYZ' Pizza chain. I believe you must be knowing some interesting numbers about pizza."

Me: It was guesstimate question wherein your approach is given more importance as compared to your final answer. My approach was as follows
TOP DOWN Approach
- Rounding off Population of Mumbai
- Dissected them in various age groups
- Further dissecting them according to their food preference north Indian, South Indian, Italian and so on.
- Dividing Sunday into various shifts → Lunch, Snacks, Dinner
- Then taking a calculated guess as to how many people would prefer a Pizza in those shifts and adding those people.
- Dividing the above number by 2 because Medium Size can feed approximately 2 people.
I was also asked what could be an alternative solution. In that case, you had to do BOTTOM UP approach.
