According to the English dictionary, crazy means- “mad, especially as manifested in wild, or aggressive behavior or someone extremely enthusiastic”. However, our batchmates at SIBM Pune manifest “craziness” in their own sweet terms:
- Curiosity kills the cat, however, our crazy friend, Puneet doesn’t feel so. With his rimmed spectacles and curly unruly hair, he is a close image of Isaac Newton. When its 5 pm, the class is over, he usually extends the class with his plethora of doubts- sometimes met with admiration and awe in his batchmates’ eyes but mostly with impatience and irritation as they can’t wait to go back to their hostels. Newton discovered gravity by his curiosity of the falling apple, lets see what Puneet in his torn jeans and leather loafers has in store for us!
- Our friend Rigzin Deldan or the rhythmic sunflower, as we like to call him, hails from Leh- the calm desert city of The Himalayas. But, calm is not the only word that describes him. A Psychology graduate, he plays the flute and ukulele- self-trained in both. He carries both the instruments with him around the campus and not a day goes when we don’t hear the pleasant notes emanating from his flute. Be it for a friend’s birthday, for meditation post an exhausting trek or just chilling in the canteen. Much to the calmness emitted from his flute and ukulele, he radiates an infinite amount of energy. His goofiness is what fills the room with energy along with his crazy jokes and contagious laughter
- A lawyer from NUJS Kolkata, Rohit adds to the diversity motto of Symbiosis- ‘Vasudev Kutumbakam’. He sits in the class with an eerie calm and lets go of all this absorbed energy in the GD, where he brutally kills his opponents. Critically analysing each position put in front of him and contemplating on the basis of his legal framework, he jumps in at the right time and throws numbers and analysis like an arrow from his bow of legality. Post this annihilation, he walks out of the GD room in the same composed fashion in which he walked in. Our own Harvey Specter, sure adds to the craziness of SIBM Pune.
- On a faraway land, there lived a king and a queen who had a Prince. A fairy put a spell on him “Your son shall fall into a sleep that will last one hundred years”. This is the story of our sleeping beauty- Sujit. When most of us struggle to stay awake feared by the wrath of our professors, untethered, he sleeps away to glory. Classes aside, even during guest lectures, the auditorium seats become his cosy bed while he enjoys his carefree sleep. Legend has it, that he sleeps while walking too! His affinity to sleep is something that is beyond crazy.
- At 6 A.M on a Sunday morning if you were to roam around the campus of SIBM Pune, you’ll find the partygoers coming back, probably some people coming back from the library and just 1 man jogging down to the base of the hillock. Coming back to his room and having made his green tea he settles on his newspaper and studies till the classes start. While we plan things out on our to do list which end up in the trash after much procrastination, Harshit has the energy and craziness to execute all of them and rightly deserves to be the perfect student. With Harshit Chaudhary, its- no more “Sharma Ji ka ladka” but “Chaudhary Ji ka ladka”.
ABG Company that I want to work for:
ABG Retail
In an internet-fueled environment, where consumer’s preferences, technology and economic forces change rapidly, consequences of a marketer’s action can drive a business to fortunes. I want to be a part of this dynamic sector contributing to its growth, while I’m growing and learning myself in a responsible company like ABRL, which takes its core value of sustainability from papers to initiatives: by replacing all store lights with LED bulbs. My principles resonate with that of ABRL. As an employee, I want to continuously learn, grow and have fun- the ABRL way- “Hamesha extra”
