What makes our campus unique?

We tread a tightrope when it comes to certain things in life. More often than some might think. Choosing where you study is one of those things. But then again when the name of the institution holds this much respect, things do get simpler and not necessarily easier.

So. To begin with, the frantic first few weeks almost took a toll on me but my bones were harder, my will just so stronger and I knew better.

Sure, I had my pre-apprehensions but what are we if not for our fears and notions. Some might find the word 'fear' a little too strong. I don't disagree either but it all became a passing thought when I breathed in this picturesque architectural marvel in the middle of the wilderness and the best of what nature had to offer. 300 acres of serenity, surrounded by the daunting ranges of Aravallis. It simply doesn't get any better than this.

As the pages of the calendars flipped, fitting in became much easier. The awkward handshakes were now replaced by awkward laughs and then came the real ones. All the sounds and the shouting and the people slowly started making sense. Ah, that reminds me. The people. Well these people weren't really the commonwealth. They were more like the outliers, as a statistician would put it. They do not represent the population at large but boy are they fun. The repertoire was something to behold. Long story short, it has been some experience. A thousand miles away from home could well possibly give me the best years of my life.

Now that we've got these things out of the way, let's talk about the very college. The bottom line. The faculty and the learning or its lack thereof.

Frankly, these are some of the best teachers I've worked under. Words wouldn't justify how ridiculously good they are. Considering how daunting our courses are, few would believe when I say that it's been a breeze. The open-door policy of IIM Udaipur makes it like a family where you don’t have to wait to meet a faculty or even the Director of the institute.

IIM Udaipur is the best choice I have made and looking at the growth of the institute over the past year I can proudly say (IIM)U is better than any of YOU.

Which ABG company I would want to work for and why?

I would like to work in ULTRATECH CEMENT LIMITED because I have prior experience of a small project in Ultratech Cement Hyderabad branch where I had to do a market survey on the problems faced by the distributors and that involved understanding the distributors network and how it all happens in the field. The credit period, the warehouses, the order quantity, I came across all these things as a part of this project for 45 days. So, If given a chance I would definitely like to work in the same field again.
