The biggest challenges are won through the mind. How you perceive and process the situation is totally subjective. A person might feel dejected easily and one might show his character with perseverance and focus. Not long ago, I found myself trapped in a tricky situation. Where I had to decide which career path to go for, I was being given the opportunity to relocate in the United States for a long-term project and in a few months, I had to fly. But, deep inside I always had a burning desire to complete my post-graduation. I wanted to do an MBA but wasn’t sure how would I be able to achieve that. To make it even worse, I had to decide in a few days if I am willing to travel abroad or not. There comes the trickiest situation, the never-ending dilemma, Thinking of all the IFS and BUTS. But I strongly believed in my capabilities and prioritized my options. Eventually, I went for the tougher option of studying further and finally I let go of my chance to go and work onsite. Once I decided to take the admission in a good B-school, I never thought of the dollars I could have earned or the cities I could’ve explored. I feel if you make a conscious and informed decision, you should never retrospect on your decision. There mustn’t any remorse or regrets. Our life is what we choose to be. So, jump on the driver seat and take its steering, because life has many ‘diversions’!!
