“Why Aditya Birla group is so big in your life?” There are multiple studies according to which you are much more likely to trust someone who has the same name as yours, no wonder it is always great to see or hear your name. This is even truer when you are a kid. I remember seeing the Aditya Birla Group logo after 'idea' ads and seeing Aditya made me feel connected to it. I am a book lover and as a typical book lover, I went to the library and took the first book I could lay my hand. The book happened to "India Unbound", going through the pages I found passages on Aditya Vikram Birla. After reading about him and how important he was for India so much so that in a sense he was the important Indian Industrialist of the twentieth century. He was the first industrialist taking the initiative to take subsidiaries out of India during the license raj, diversifying the business into uncharted territories. Mr. Das described him in the best way "if not for his early death, he would have launched Indian Business into different sphere" (not exact words). The connection of name resonated again, for the first time in my life I search through all the offerings of the company. What I found was amazing, I found how ever-present was Aditya Birla Group was in my life from idea sim on my phone to Louis Philipe T-shirt I was wearing to Van Heusen suit I was planning to take from my father for my class tenth farewell to Pantaloon shopping card in mothers bag. Since then I have been looking for things relating to Aditya Birla Group from opening the first Ralph Lauren store in India, to becoming India’s largest network provider after the merger between Idea and Vodafone.  Even today I had to go through Aditya Birla Groups Financial report for accounting project, so it seems that Aditya Birla Group will be omnipresent in my life. “How you overcame challenges to achieve your ambitions in life so far?” Being from a background where everyone was either a practicing lawyer or a Judge the life seemed pretty planned out for me. But, I knew that my life was not going to and coming from court the only problem was I did not know what I wanted to do. After my high school I convinced my parents that I did not wanted to pursue law only difficulty I was not sure what I wanted to do. Like majority of student I went on to pursue engineering. That was the beginning of a journey of self-discovery; during engineering, I did whatever work I could try my hands on and collected all the experience I could from working on embedded systems to writing content to working in a plant to working at a data center. Post my engineer I was sure about one thing that I was not into full time coding job. Next I did not opted for the campus job I had at a MNC, but starting working for a small company that gave me an array of different task from sales and marketing, to making presentations, to managing key accounts. It was there I found that the kick that I was searching in my life was not doing sales and marketing or doing analytics but was solving different problems. So in short, my life biggest challenge has been “being confused” and what I have achieved till now is the tip of the ice berg in my journey of finding my true calling.
