In our new series, Coolest Brand Campaigns, we will post some of the best brand advertisements and campaigns and have a look at what makes them so amazing! They will serve as a good guideline and probably help you to form case studies as well.
Ogilvy created a series of videos for Rajasthan Tourism that shows the diversity of the state through the eyes of different tourists. The interesting part was that in each of these videos they called Rajasthan by the name of the tourist. For example, if the video showed Rajasthan through the eyes of Meera, they called it Meerasthan. This gives a sense of belonging and make the place seem tourist friendly. The last video unveils the new logo through an animation film on the sand. The video captures the essence of Rajasthan beautifully. The logo looks like 2 camels sitting with birds flying above them. At the same time, the logo also looks like the typical Rajasthani moustache. The campaign is aimed at the youth and beautifully shows different flavours that the place can offer to its tourists. The music in the ad is quite catchy and the videos made me want to set off immediately to explore this state through my eyes.
