Aditya Birla Group is not just a name , it touches so many lives each n every day. For people it’s a very big name but not everyone knows how wide this web is. I was a school going kid when I first came across this name. A friend of mine used to bring pens and diaries to school those were ABG goodies her father got in their business(Ultratech Cement). Another incident when I went for shopping at ALLEN SOLLY and my friend told me you know it’s a subsidiary of Aditya Birla Group. It sounded like “JANA PEHNCHANA NAAM” that Ultratech Cement brand. I was stunned CEMENT and APPARELS under one web then google came in action. I was dumbstruck that Allen Solly is not a foreign brand its our Indian brand that pioneers in formal wears. ABG is with us for as long as one can remember. It touches every part of our life- from a child’s tiffin box (wrapped in freshwrapp) to the lives of people wearing those formals everyday. Not only this, Aditya Birla Group acquired pantaloons in 2012 , this retail clothing brand provided more affordability to people. We have this relationship with ABG irrespective of being unaware of its subsidiarity. We not only have this “money and product” or “industry and consumer” relation with ABG, as it is said that with big name comes big responsibility. ABG proved its mettle in the field of CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY. It is trying to give back to the society by CSR programs.

So we see it has a wide web and how it shares a mutual relationship and behaviour with society. Aditya Birla Group sounds like a JANA PAHCHANA NAAM but that’s the story how it became JANA MANA NAAM to me.
•How I have made an impact
Human beings have this tendency to underestimate or overestimate themselves at times. Evaluating oneself at the right time becomes crucial but its no less than a task. I ,as a person ,have changed a lot in last some years of my life. From being too naïve to trust anyone to being the support system for people in my life. Things that make me what I m today have been learnt the hard way. I was associated with Dramatics society during my graduation and it helped me discover some new abilities. Initially it was difficult for me to adjust and interact with so many people but later I realised no one is different. With each year passing every new person in the group faced the same problems adjusting to new environment of college. I started to empathize with them, tried to handle the situation from my own learnings of life. I try to help people around me by talking to them, by making them laugh. Maybe I don’t be with them in good times but in bad times I try not to leave their sides. Not only this, during my school years I used to teach kids in my neighbourhood. Any kind educational help they needed or maybe they were afraid to ask a teacher I tried to teach them. With empathy and Sensitivity towards people I have made an impact on people in my life.
