Cracking CAT 2019 is still like a dream for me. It's almost 40 hours the CAT results are out, and still, I can't believe how I cracked it with 97.14%ile. From being an average student and scoring good in CAT makes me more motivated and focused towards the field where I can grow my career.
The happiest thing which I received after my results were out was infinite amount of smile and happiness on my parents' faces.
My journey started with a fight with my parents for 2000 Rs. when I asked them about money to fill the CAT examination form as it was the last day and they were like that it's just a waste - nothing fruitful was going to happen. But I managed to pay the CAT form fees through my savings and started collecting free resources/materials to collect depth knowledge. Most of the time, I spent time on YouTube and I used to get scolded by my parents, who said,
"KUCH NHI KARTA HA BAAS DINBHAR PHONE CHALANA HA". But it didn't bother me as I was chasing my dream and making my own materials.
I informed my parents 1 day before CAT, that I have to go to give my exam and my parents asked what exam when at first I told them it's a college exam and this time centre is far away. But they knew that I was lying, so ultimately, I had to speak the truth and said that I had filled out the CAT form and the exam was on the following day.
Everyday my friends used t tell me that "tumhara maths acha nahi h clear nahi hoga, without tuitions its impossible to crack and blah blah..."
But what I did was I just focused and I was always motivated on my own coz it's my life and I got the result!
