Aditya Birla Group is a US $44.3 billion corporation. It is active in 14 industry sectors. We are surrounded by Aditya Birla Group’s products. Its wide variety includes numerous clothing brands like Louis Philippe, Peter England, Allen Solly, Pantaloons, and Linen Club, etc. to UltraTech cement which holds our houses. It is also present in the Financing, Insurance, Wealth Management, and Advising sectors.
My story is related to the telecom service provider “IDEA,” which later merged with Vodafone to tackle the competition faced in the telecom sector.
My story is back from the days when I was just a 16-year-old kid. I had just completed my class 10th exams, and my parents decided to send me to Kota for my further studies. I was nervous as this was the first time I was going to stay away from my parents. I was scared. A few days later, my parents went to drop me to Kota for my engineering coaching. Since I was going to live alone, my parents had bought me a new phone with an IDEA number as my father is a very loyal customer of Aditya Birla Group. Also, at that time, everyone in my family was using the IDEA network only.
After dropping me at Allen Institute in Kota, when my parents returned back, I felt so lonely and missed my home very much. It was only the IDEA network that helped me survive this difficult time. The IDEA network helped me to stay connected with my parents even when they were not physically present with me. Now they had a habit of calling me daily to wish me good night and to know my well being. Whenever I felt lonely, I knew that my parents are just one call away from me. Thanks to IDEA for keeping me in touch with them.
As I have already told you that my father is a very loyal customer of Aditya Birla products, also, he is a businessman so he needs to wear formal clothes very frequently. For that, he always prefers buying clothes from Louis Philippe. Before coming to IIM Rohtak, he bought my business formals from Allen Solly as well. Even my mother, she prefers kurtas from pantaloons as she says that pantaloons have a wide variety of clothes whether traditional or western. So it has become more of a necessity for our entire family. Everyone prefers Aditya Birla products above any other brand.
As mentioned above, my father bought me business formals from Allen Solly, which I wore for my CAT interview as well. The dress turned out very lucky for me.
