Aditya Birla Group, indeed one of the India's biggest conglomerate with its umbrella reach in wide area of sectors, making almost every Indian somehow connected with ABG in one way or the other. From making seamless calls from Idea cellular from the year 2002, when we got our first mobile handset at home, back then when no other network had reach in the Indian household, to using Freshwrapp aluminium foils in the Kitchen, ABG  has been a big big part of most of our lives. Being brought up in a city like Bhopal I had a little exposure to the metropolitan culture. The only time, I used to see big roads and tall buildings are whenever I visited Delhi which is my Hometown. The people, the culture, the infrastructure used to amaze me as a kid and I always dreamt of living the fast-paced life there. Growing up, I remember buying my first branded T-Shirt from Pantaloons when I visited one of the malls back in 2007 in Delhi. Visiting malls those days used to be exciting. After 3 long years our wait got over when we got those same brands in Bhopal with the opening of the 1stshopping mall in Bhopal. I became a loyal customer of Pantaloons from then. Be it ethnic wear, western wear, accessories, footwear we get everything we want under one roof. Forever 21 has become my new favourite from the time at Hyderabad, where I used to work and I am eagerly looking up for the Brand store to open up in the city. I remember my recent shopping from the Allen Solly outlet for my new journey at MDI, Gurgaon where I found a wide range of business suits and picking one of those best pieces seemed extremely difficult. It has been rightly said that “While Clothes does not make women, they certainly have a strong effect on her self-confidence, which does make women”. And I proudly say that the secret behind my confidence is the brands I wear, be it Allen Solly, Van-Heusen or Forever21 and that’s how I associate myself with the ABG group. Life has been good. And it will get better. Keep Going! The words I recall every time I face a challenge in life. Life is never smooth for anyone. So had not been mine. But it has been fun. That’s where perspective plays it game. The ups and downs leave an impact and form a never dissolving experience in the memories. They make us strong and more acceptable.

One of the biggest challenges in my life was losing my father,  which I consider, the most unfortunate thing that could happen to anybody. I lost my Dad at the age of 12. The loss was grave and everything seemed shattered. We being a nuclear family had to cope with the financial and the emotional jerk altogether. It took years to come down to normal life. It took a lot of perseverance and oneness to keep going, but this left a permanent hole that can never ever be filled.
The strength of my mother inspired me go ahead, cherish the things we have. It made us independent, handle the toughest of the situations in life and aim for a bright future. And here I am, studying at MDI, Gurgaon aiming for a good enlightening future and opportunity to work with a conglomerate like ABG which has evolved imbibing the core values of Integrity, Commitment, Passion, Seamlessness and Speed, which is a great inspiration for me.
