The 200-acre lush green heaven place surrounded by the Himalayas is not just the thing that makes our campus unique but there’s a lot more to it. The state is Uttarakhand which is referred to as the Dev Bhoomi due to the religious significance. IIM Kashipur was established in 2011 started in its own temporary campus. It permanently shifted to its new campus after 2016. The campus currently hold more than 400 students within its beautifully designed hostels. One of the most unique thing about the campus is that the students are getting a private single occupancy accommodation. This allows the student to develop an independent thought process and also get to have self-development.
The ambiance of the campus is very unique in itself. There is a constant rigour that will be revolving you in so many areas which will exactly shape you the way the corporates need you to be. A constant learning environment also makes the student to be more inclined towards what is expected of an MBA student. The library also is such a great place for knowledge input because of its such enormous and massive resources availability.
Whereas the learning experience carries on a great weight, the campus is always whenever it gets some free time from the rigour. The campus is nearby famous tourist destinations like Nainital, Corbett Tiger Reserve and Rishikesh for a small trip. Constant extra-curricular activities keep the campus lively with events and a senior junior constant interaction in terms of sports and cultural activities. In all, these two years spent at this campus would definitely be one’s best years of his/her life.
Which ABG company would one want to work for and why?
If given a chance, I would be willing to work in Aditya Birla Retail Limited because the segment has always been an attractive one for me. This is one segment that actually touches the FMCG and the mass consumers market where there lies a great opportunity to work in. This consists of the Supermarkets, Hypermarkets, own brands as well as Club more. Being a marketing student, I would always love to explore such opportunities in a segment where I have been taught many case studies in the classroom learning environment.
